Build Your Own Prestige - Block 580

Wasn't sure how the grain would look once it showed up, but the block is denser than I expected and takes lacquer really well. Gave it two coats and the color popped way more than the dry piece. Solid little weekend project.

The grain on this block is gorgeous, way nicer than I expected for the price. Took me about an hour to get it sanded and lacquered, and the colors really do pop once you seal it. Didn't realize some blocks fail during the build, so I got lucky mine came out clean.

The block arrived solid and the grain took lacquer beautifully, way more vibrant than the dry photos suggested. Knowing some blocks fail during the build makes it feel like a small gamble that paid off. Mine came out clean and it's already sitting on my shelf.
