Build Your Own Prestige - Block 091

The block arrived with a nice tight grain and took lacquer beautifully, way more vibrant than the raw wood. Took me an evening to build and it sits on my desk looking like a proper little trophy.

Wasn't sure what to expect since the description warns some blocks fail during the build, but mine came out solid with clean edges. Planning to hit it with lacquer this weekend since the colors supposedly pop way more once it's sealed. Fun little project for the price.

The grain on my block is way more interesting than the photo showed, and I love that each one gets built from the pictured piece so no two turn out alike. I haven't lacquered it yet but the color already pops.
