Build Your Own Prestige - Block 049

I was nervous ordering a block without seeing the exact one I'd get, but the grain on mine came out gorgeous. The note about lacquering is real though, the color popped way more once I gave it a coat. Solid little piece for the shelf.

Wasn't sure how a random block would turn out but the grain on mine is genuinely pretty. Slapped on a coat of lacquer and the color popped way more than I expected. Fun little weekend project if you don't mind waiting to see which block you get.

The raw wood took the lacquer beautifully and the grain really popped once I sealed it. Mine arrived fully assembled and rock solid, no wobble at all. Been using it as a display piece on my shelf and it gets compliments constantly.
