Build Your Own Prestige - Block 284

The suspense of not knowing which block I'd get was half the fun, and the one that arrived has this deep grain that really popped once I brushed on a coat of lacquer. It's a solid, weighty piece that sits nicely on my desk.

Wasn't sure what block I'd end up with since they build it from the pictured one, but mine came out great. The finish really pops once you add lacquer, way more vibrant than it looked dry. No failures on mine either.

Ordered one on a whim and the block they built for me actually matched the photo pretty closely. Nice heft to it, and the color really does pop once you put a coat of lacquer on.
