Build Your Own Prestige - Block 098

Ordered one on a whim and the block they built came out way more detailed than the listing photo suggested. Slapped a coat of lacquer on it and the colors really popped. Now I'm eyeing a second one for my desk.

Wasn't sure how the grain would look in person but this block came out way nicer than the photo suggested. I gave it two coats of lacquer and the colors really popped. Fun little project if you don't mind that some blocks don't survive the build.

I was nervous ordering a block that's built from the pictured one, but mine came out with a really tight grain and no cracks at all. Haven't put lacquer on it yet, though I can already tell the color's going to pop once I do.
