Build Your Own Prestige - Block 018

The grain on my block came out way nicer than I expected, and a quick coat of lacquer really made the colors pop. Fun little build project, though I get why they warn that some blocks fail during the process.

Wasn't sure how the colors would look out of the box, but once I hit it with a coat of lacquer the grain really popped. It's a chunkier block than I pictured, sits nice on my desk. Build took a bit longer than I expected, but worth the wait.

Took a couple weeks to arrive and I was nervous about the "some blocks fail" note, but mine came out solid with clean edges. Definitely worth adding lacquer if you want the colors to really show.
