Build Your Own Prestige - Block 524

I was a little nervous about the block failing, but the one I received turned out beautifully—the colors really pop once I applied a lacquer coat.

The photo on the listing looked sharp, but seeing it in person with a coat of lacquer is a whole other level of depth. I appreciate that they still built it from the exact block pictured, even though they warned some might fail. A solid pick for the price.

The lacquer really brought out the deep red tones in the wood grain, and the final piece feels surprisingly heavy and solid. I've already ordered a second block to try a different color combination.
