William U. ★★★★★

The finished block has a nice weight to it and the grain really pops once you buff on a coat of lacquer. Mine survived the build with only a tiny bubble in one corner, which honestly adds character. Solid little piece for the shelf.

Andrew ★★★★★

The grain on my block came out way more interesting than the listing photo suggested, and the corners are sanded smooth enough that I didn't need to touch them up. I skipped the lacquer at first but caved after a week, and yeah, the colors really do pop once you seal it.

Miles Q. ★★★★★

Wasn't sure how mine would turn out since some blocks fail during the build, but mine came through solid and the grain looks great. Putting the lacquer on really made the colors pop compared to how it looked straight out of the box.
