Didn't expect the block to feel this solid in hand, and the lacquer really does make the colors pop way more than the raw version. Mine survived the build fine, though I get why they warn some blocks fail during the process.

The grain on mine came out way nicer than the photo suggested, and a quick coat of lacquer really made the color pop. Took a few days to ship since they build each one to order, but that's part of the fun.
