Isabella Q. ★★★★★

The block arrived with a really tight grain pattern and took my lacquer coat beautifully, way more vibrant than I expected. Mine made it through the build fine, though I get why they warn that some blocks crack during the process. Already eyeing a second one.

Lucy ★★★★★

Wasn't sure how the grain would take the lacquer but it soaked in evenly and the color really popped. Took me about an hour to sand and finish, and the block came out way more vibrant than the raw piece suggested. One of my favorites on the shelf now.

Stella ★★★★★

Wasn't sure how the build would turn out since some blocks fail during the process, but mine came through solid. A quick coat of lacquer really does wake up the colors — went from nice to almost glowing.
